The Microphone Package includes 4 super powerful mini microphones with built in pre-amp, 4 100 foot power / audio cables, 4 output power supply to power the mini microphones and speakers that are compatible with the JPEG2000 DVR systems audio output. That everything you need to take advantage of the audio recording features of this DVR.

MPEG-4 is known for it's poor recording quality because when there is lots of motion the images tend to break up around the edges. The image becomes distorted known as the mosaic effect. While H.264 is an improvement over MPEG-4 it still has some of the same distortion qualities as MPEG-4 when there is lots of motion in the recorded image. Neither of these to recording formats can compare to the JPEG2000 recording format. When it comes to quality recording, JPEG2000 can't be beat.
